Can you add rocks to the bottom of your dwc, to breed more beneficial bacteria?

I run a bubbler in one tent and a recirc rez in the other
If your dwc has sufficient DO, and you use proper nutes (I use Hydroponic-Research V+B), then bennies are not needed
Root ball is from bubbler, where I keep a large oxystone cylinder directly under the net pot
