can anyone tell how much longer i have on these buds? i really wanna pick them as they look horrible with a bunch of nute burn on the actual buds!!! this was my first grow plant so more of an experiment than anything lol but none the less i still would like to smoke it lol... she is flushed now so she been doing allright sorry kinda shitty pics but if u can give me an idea of when to harvest this thing thatd be great... not exactly sure but its been in flower for about 7 weeks now give or take a week.( flowered since beg of dec)

Well u made it to the end, congrats! NOw if u wanna know when to harvest there's a couple ways to do it.
1. Wait till almost all of the hairs have turned color- very basic.

2. BEST WAY- Get u one of those mini-microscopes from radio shack for like $15 and use it to check the trichomes(crystals) on the plant. U'll notice little balls on the end of the trichomes and when those balls are 100% cloudy, meaning ALL OF THEM thats when u harvest if u want the more 'up' high'. Now if u want the 'couchlock' high, wait till the trichomes are 50% amber. Good luck, happy smokin

thx for replying!!!! without looking at it through a scope do u think today would be a good time to harvest just by looking at the red hair to white hair ratio?

Honestly, u COULD harvest it, and it will get u high, but if it were me, i'd wait it out till I saw a lot more of those hairs turnin just be sure. Ya know, even a good magnifying glass(30x) will get u at least a look at the truiches up close so u have an idea of where thy're at. The trichomes on the plant will always be the best way to tell how close it is to harvest.

Yea agreed, no point coming this far n chopping it down early, its up to you tho

If you really wanna try it chop a lower bud off, that wont harm the plant, and give you a preview of things to come

that wouldnt do any good because i still would have to wait like 2 weeks b4 i can smoke it to find out if i shoulda chopped it 2 weeks ago lol. ill just take ur guy's word and wait a few more days
