Can someone confirm this???

I was just advised that cutting the plants "bald" in 2nd or 3rd week of flowering increases bud production.

Supposedly, trimming off all the leaves while leaving the bud alone allows more light to hit all other parts of the plant therefore having more bud.

Is this true? does anyone else do this?

i see. interesting.

i would think that the plant NEEDS the leaves to absorb more energy.

But I think i'll try it as well... it'll probably help out with saving space in a major way.

the guy told me that once he cuts the leaves and makes his plant bald, the leaves grow back the next week and he has to cut it all over again.

I've heard this theory. Never tried it, but those leaves fall off naturally late in flowering on most plants anyways.
