You need a 60+ magnifier/microscope at least. You can pick them up fairly cheap.
Hi, yeah i'll try to take a better picture for you shortly once she wakes up - I only have a 30x jewlers loupe though, will have to invest in a stronger one methinks

Post a pic of a cola and we can get a better idea of how much longer she has.
Hi There

Yeah I'll post a few more pics shortly once the light clicks on today so you can see how far along she is - were at about 8.5 weeks and thats what the recommended flowering time is too, she looks kinda ready at mo.

noone can tell you unless they are there,...... looking in your scope. Trichs are the ONLY way to tell true maturity.

Radio Shack-$10 Illuminated microscope (100x), GET ONE!!!

When you get one, this is how you use it.

Take a small sample leaf, preferably a very sugary one. Cut it off and place it on a table of neutral color, glass is best, something white as a second choice (Wood surfaces can reflect amber onto the trich and give you a false read) Now, place the scope (with the light switched on) down onto the sample. Look in and dial in your focus,....there they are, clear as day. :)

Good luck

Hi, Cheers for the info.

Ive got a 30x mag loupe but its a bit hard to see with, ive just ordered a 60x - 100x mag with an led light but it'll take like 5 days to get to me, ill use that but will be trying to get a few better pics of the main colas just to see if we can get something to go off.

you should be able to see if they are cloudy or amber with the 30x, no? Use the same method I described above except with the loupe. Make sure there's lots of light around you and on the sample

sorry bro the only way u can tell if the buds done without a microscope .. is checking the biggest buds... and if anything... how many days are u into flower? and wats the breeders reccomendation? .. i usually either do breeders recomendation or .. a week longer.. just because it takes about a week to switch from veg to flower... and i dont count that as flower time. just transition time.. so 8th day of flowering is my first day.. usually if u let them go a little longger ur end up with more weight too.. depends strains tho

Hey There.

Yeah I'll check the 6 tops ive ended up with then, the breeders recommendation is like 8.5 weeks which im currently at, i switched her to flush yesterday and was planning on giving it another 5 days of pure ph balanced water before i cut her down.

The strain is double berry, its mainly indica (White Widow x Somango).

So going off what you have said she is really at about 7.5 weeks+.

'll have a look at the main colas and will take some pics through the 30X loupe just to try and clear this up anyway but thatnks for the advice fella!!!

Don't fret on the pic through the loupe, just look for yourself. When you see them, you'll understand, it's pretty cut and dry,. Shaped like a mushroom and the caps are either clear, milky or brown
