Can my girls herm if I defoliate too much in veg?

Iv only defoliated my girls two times out of a month and 7days in veg, bout two weeks apart. Wasn’t heavy jus removing fan leaves and little branches at the very bottom. The plants look very healthy and wanna do a lite strip one more time before flip. Or should I wait day 17-19 flower to strip?

I defoliate my SCROG heavier than you and I've never had a hermie from it. That's not to say that a plant won't do it; they're all a little different even in the strain. I stripped just before I flipped and I'm still doing it now at day 12 or so. But way less; just taking the ones up top that block light. There's no reason you can't do both defoliations in my opinion.
 
I’ll be doing a strip today before lights out and foliar spraying liquid karma or PowerSi for stress
