Can i use dried seeds?

Can i use seeds from pot i buy?
And do i have to have a male and female plant to do it?
Im new here, and relatively new to smoking, so any help would be awesome.

a lot of people grow from seeds they buy, most people refer to it as "bag seed" on this site. Any weed u buy with seeds can be planted, the sex is determined by growing the plant. Try reading through the GrowFAQ at the top of the page, itll learn ya good. hope i helped some

make sure if you're going to invest a lot of time in growing, that you use really good bag seed, rather than just seeds from regs or something. If you don't get the delight of getting really seedy nugg (sarcasm), ask a friend if they got any good seeds, and tell them if they give em to you for free that you'll give em some pot from your final product.

that's also a pretty good way to let your friends know that you're growing, which isn't in your best interests.
