Can i use boiled water for a alternative humidifier for my plants

can i use boiled water as a alternative humidifier for my plants i don't mind having to change the water out here and there.

Do you mean just keeping a pot of water boiling on the stove? You might consider wetting a bath towel and placing it in an area with good air movement....Or, just save up for a humidifier. They aren't that expensive.
