can i turn off one light while growing

hello, im running two 1000 watt hps lights and wanted to know if i could run both lights then turn one off to save power and reduce heat buildup? Im not worred too much about the bud loss, im more worred about hermies. can anyone help me?

Should be fine. You only have to worry about interrupting the dark cycle during flowering.
