Can I turn my fan off at night

Hey guys I am wondering if I can turn my fan off at night while my grow light is off? My fan is loud and I don’t like to sleep while it’s going. Any input helps thanks!

No, a speed controller might help you but it'll need to be digital or transformer type for hum/buzz free operating.

So a question then I have my fan on with the timer to lights. What is the benefit of it running 24/7. Didn’t know I should run all the time

The worst time to stop aeration is when lights out IMO. It's a recipe for mold to flourish and bad bacteria cultures.

Highest humudity levels is when lights are out, keep your fans on.

The plants breath out moisture it's a bad time not to have a fan running/humidity control.
