Ok so my last plant is six foot tall with dozens of small buds so I'm starting to flower this plant at 18" my question is can I use these four bottom branches for new clones to keep my grow going or are they to small. Also attached couple pics of buds on six foot plant.
Can I take clones already.

how long has it been flowering? you can clone some of those branches, I would take clones off that had 3 nodes, and left at least one node on the plant, that way the little bit that is left on the plant would be able to sprout 2 branches, and keep going. IF it has been flowering for a little while, you could take the whole branch off and lollypop your main plant, and get a couple clones, by taking the whole branch, instead of leaving a little left

Ya, you are good to cut. Its only really a problem when the pistols (pre flowers) start coming out. Once that happens, it generally takes longer to get them rooted and more time to revert them back to veg. Only one day in, you are good. Happy cloning! -Cheif
