I have a question:
My room is 1o x 14 and i am running 4 x 1ooow lights.
I have a 12" fan i was going to use for outake
and i was gona get a 8" for intake.
Will this work ?
Also my "out" vent is right above "in" vent in a window box as i cannot cut in walls for intake, will this work? They are 1o" appart on same window box.
thanks Hbr

Usually u want yer intake to be half as strong as yer exaust for proper venting. So i would say try a 6 inch, or a fan that moves about half as much cfm of air than the 12. You could also try fan controller for the 8, which will slow down the fan speed if its to strong, and that way you can also fine tune your air flow. As far as the
holes being to close, just attach ducting to your intake to move it to the otherside of the room. You should take in to account though, the fact that any bend in the ducting can decrease air flow.
Hope that helps.

personally i try to keep it an even ratio so one of the fans isnt working harder than it needs to be

i have heard that having a slightly positive atmospheric pressure (more intake) keeps small pests (such as mites) out and a negative pressure (more exhaust) sucks surrounding small pests in.... just what i read in some weed magazine over the years
