can i put a clone from indoor outdoor?

was wondering if i would have any luck getting a couple clones at dispensaries and putting them outdoors in 5gal buckets here in the cali sunlight.

will the sun be too much for indoor clones and kill them?

If the clones were taken from a indoor plant you have to ween them in the sun putting them out a couple hours a day then bringing them back in. Each day adding more time outdoors. After 4-5 day they should be good. You should notice the leaves getting a little tuffer from being outdoors. Good Luck
