Can a intake duct suck fresh air through a curtain?

But doesn't material breath through? Would it not just be a case of the type of curtains i have and to take into consideration about the thickness diameter of the curtains I use?
 
Yes

Air gets sucked in thru tent walls, for example, resulting in "negative pressure" within the tent. Curtains are generally thinner than grow tent walls, so I'm sticking with yes
