Calmag on freshly planted clones

Just about to plant clones into my DWC system... Would you advise adding a little calmag to freshly planted clones ? A friend of mine reckons he adds a little bit from this stage but I thought you'd add calmag if only deficient in these ?

No, although in dwc you do want a low level of nutes with clones, 200 to 300 ppm
