Calling all Michiganites :)

OK my hubby and I just moved to Michigan from Seattle and in need of a new hook up? We are currently staying in a hotel in Troy til we find a place to live and I have been trying to find the 'areas'. I know Detroit can be a bit dodge if you don't know your way around and it is best to go to Ann Arbor - but this is a bit far out for us? Anyone know anywhere near by that we can go check out? I am starting to climb the walls a bit

Welcome to Michigan, be sure and get registered to vote, you can do so at the same time you change your drivers licenses, a simple page form and your done. We have a Medical Marijuana Initiative that will be on the ballot this November. VV

Detroit. AnnArbor, Fenton, Flint and Traverse City all have Medical Marijuana laws, AnnArbor gives a fime for possession and takes your pot, no 'criminal' charges. VV

well our guy turned out to be a flake - so based on your advice I found the area in Ann Arbor and gonna pay it a visit... cheers for the suggestions mate

I know your post is a couple weeks old, but "Hi." I'm new here as well.

I hope you were able to find something nice. In my part of the state the smoke has been terrible, with a wide range in prices. More than a few people around here try to get away with selling shit-brown, seedy, crumbly, trash and telling you it's some "exotic" Canadian hydro. A friend of a friend actually showed me some crap he called "Canadian Bacon", and it actually looked like a ziplock full of bacon bits. Total bullshit.
