Callifornia damn sliding closets

So me and the gf are finnally moving to Calli. I am noticing while looking at the apartments that almost all of them have those damn sliding closet doors! How am I to turn this into a quiet smell proof grow? Please post some ways/links that you guys have turned your sliding closet into a grow room. I need to avoid my whole apt smelling like weed of course. And a semi quiet setup would be good.

possibly seal it off some how but then you have to watch and control your humidity and temps in there and provide ventilation is my guess,
but if your moving to california dont worry you should be cool as long as you stay under the legal limit and dont do anything illegal.

are you going to get your cannabis card ?

HAHHHAH WELCOME TO CALI!!! yea man thats pretty much 80% of all houses here... my apartment is the same, there really isnt much u could do. hey atleast u can half the closet off and make a veg and flower room out of it .... i just keep one side of the closet cracked open for ventilation, n get a GRIP of glad scents and candles.. also u cant really do much for the light cause its gonna show through the cracks of the closet anyways.. PRETTY MUCH Jus keep wat UR DOIN TOO UR SELF.. n u should BE COOL... GOOD LUCK
REMEMBER ITS CALI....UR new neighbors are PROBLY gettin blowed right now as we speak lol... so dont trip..

now they want to make it legal so they can tax it 50.00 an oz. (won't happen, but wish it would, my card cost 100.00 and 80.00 renew, just renewed and good for another year. and starting my second grow, with my first grow just ending....

?...come on people I live in co and Had this same problem, what i did was take the doors off take the rollers off the doors. remove the slider gaurd thing at the bottom , it should just screw off. then take the top track off and the bored if there is one, closing in the top. now buy 4 door hinges and screw those things in and make those into swing doors.

buy a grow tent and throw it in your closet. Fixed

Yea that's nice n all but he has an apartment I don't know if ur able to do that but hey if u can n get away with breakinn it down n take off the track.go for it LOL I know every 2 months they have inspections n walk through my whole place. They let us know before hand so I take all my stuff to a friends house n clean up.

seal it with panda film and add some zippers.

welcome to cali!!! keep it real your guna love life twice as much now haha. definitely get your club card before you do anything. and then your best bet is going to be to check out a grow tent. HTGsupply makes some really nice ones im sure youd be able to find something thatl fit just right in that closet. you can get a nice exhaust fan set up with a carbon filter and you wont even smell it. also check out the ONA gel as well. got a friend budding in an apt and within five minutes of opening the container it no longer smelled. keep to yourself though. dont show ur new friends.

ahh should have read the whole post. almost positive they cant go in a locked door though. ill have to check up on that.

the sliding closet is for clones... use the rest of the room the closet is in for your plants.

I am actually in the process today of resetting-up my lights in my closet mid-veg (got a 600w to add to my 400w, time to make shit bright), and I'm going to take off the doors and seal it w/ panda film, as fdd2blk suggested. im gonna make at least one passive intake light trap, and i'll rig an exhaust port for my fan, and i'll have a really fun time doin it!

Damn them doors lol. My buddys plants were found by his dad and we had to move them over to my pad cus of them. Flipping the doors works with holding light in.
