Califonia v.s. Michigan. / Lighitng?

Ok I finally got my light one foot from my ladies at a steady 77 degrees. Night will help will drop down a few degrees with the window constantly open. One question I can figure out since working on farms for many a year in California mainly Mendocino woot Spy Rock Road. Anyway how come the plant doesn't get sunburned when temperatures in cali can exceed 90 degrees plus a day, and inside if it goes above 80 they sunburn? WTF? The only conclusion I could muster to this perplexing question is because indoors we use fake ass lighting instead of natural sun is this correct?

pretty much..the sun is very strong, so strong that it needs to be that as far away as it is, and we can still feel the heat of it beating on us during the summer solstice.

Also, some strains are a lot more heat resistant than others, especially those that come from afghan descent.

well since I haven't completely destroyed my intellect ( what little there was to begin with ) , I have learned this ast week ( after acquiring these Alaskan thunderfuck ladies), and through variouls sun burnt temp drops temp ups, that if I keep my heater on at 65 degrees, that it keeps my grow room a constant 75 degrees. Either the thermostat is off on my heater, or the accumulation of hot air get hotter as it moves from one end of the house to my grow room, which would make sense hoter air would make hoter air. Anyway I am glad I finally got it dialed in at a steady 75 degrees top of plants, light one foot away, glad I can finally get some sleep after a week of fucking with the thermostats thanks guys.

your grow room is 75 instead of 65 bc of the lighting....
