Cali Connection Issue

My buddy bought some seeds and then found himself in a position where he wont be able to get his grow ready for a couple months. Anywho, he sold me the seeds he had at a discount, and I come to find out its Cali Connection "818 HeadBand" and "Grape OG". I accepted them, but I've heard so negative publicity from swerve and cali connection about hermies, I'm worried about starting them and the ruining my rotation with some unforeseen scenarios. Jas anyone ran their gear lately, and what was the outcome. They are regular seeds, so maybe the same issues wont occur. Any input is appreciated

You will find some of the best stuff from Cali Connection. But, sometimes you have to wade through a river of shit to get it. Years ago, his strains were used throughout the breeder community, even if they didn't want to give credit to Swerve for their genetics.

Regular seeds have absolutely nothing at all to do with whether a plant will hermie or not. You realize the first hermie in the history of cannabis came from regular seeds? You know, nature didn't just all of a sudden drop fem seeds out of the sky. Regular plants hermied, they always have and always will.

The grape autoflowered on me... I've heard great things about the 818 headband though
