I started using Cal/Mag when I switched to cmh, especially since switching to the Hortliux bulb. I also use FF ocean forest their trio, AN big bud, overdrive and photosynthesis plus. The extra UV seems to be why it needs the cal/mag. I did not use it when I had MH and HPS. I use it all the way through until flush. I did try other Cal/Mag and while this is not a plug the AN version seems to work better than the others that I tried.

cal/mag should be used in coco as and when needed but cut out of flower 3-4 weeks in . It's just a supplement, so as and when .
Also when using these purple LEDs as the lights seem to make the plants use more than what they would if grown under hps , that's just going of my own experiences

So would you need cal-mag if using foxfarm ocean soil ? I also put 2 aerator pumps in a 5 gallon bucket to dechlorinate my water.

I ran into cal mag issues at week 4-6 flower you def need it in coco threw out flower
It's not needed in coco if you already have enough calcium and magnesium in your base nutrients. I use calcium nitrate throughout the grow which is 13% calcium. I never use calmag growing in coco and never have any calcium or magnesium deficiencies. The micronutrient blend I use supplies adequate magnesium as well. These are just inexpensive dry nutrients which is why I laugh at these coco specific nutrients that have you using calmag on top of the base nutrients. If they're coco specific then why don't the formulas contain enough calcium and magnesium to begin with?

Cannabis specific nutrients should be renamed "We leave stuff out of our base nutrients so you have to by more bottles of products".

You have a file on your computer with these same bullshit quotes you’ve been spewing for years along with the same plant pictures or what?

Post right before yours has a coco grower that doesn't use calmag either.

We've been down this road of your bullshit before. Keep eating that cannabis broscience bullshit sandwich. Oh, you got some dripping off your chin. Better wipe that off before you go out in public. It's morons like you that don't have a clue about plants that make people like me laugh and laugh and laugh. Better run not walk down to your local hydro shop to buy whatever shiny bottle the dude behind the counter says you need.

If you had even a modicum of knowledge regarding plant nutrition you would know that the 13% calcium content of calcium nitrate is plenty of calcium. Why do you think the call it CALCIUM nitrate? It's a pretty simple concept to grasp but apparently too much for your pea brain to comprehend. Calcium does not have to come from a bottle of calmag. Any further stupid replies to my posts will just be ignored as it's a waste of time talking to a rock.

Keep posting pictures of mediocre plants you grew 4 years ago that weren’t even very healthy
