Cal mag during flower

Should I add Cal Mag to my hydro during flower? I use rain water, 80 to 150 ppm, before nutrients. 1050 after nutrients. I run ph at 5.7 to 6.0 . Plants are in good health, just wondering if it helps bud formation in any way. Using Floarnova grow and flower for nutrients, mixed with a dash of Koolbloom. Any thoughts?

Hi my friend
I use calmag from general hydroponic with my feed every time and I see its good with my babies
And I'm now in flowering and I use the half feeding schedule from general hydroponic

http://generalhydroponics.com/site/index.php/resources/feeding_schedule/flora_series_recirculating_expert_simple/

So I use all this stuff in this schedule with half of what they say

And I keep my ph 5.8 to 6.3 and check it every few hours
And my babies doing great

See how did they going. ....

Looking good. That's what I like, an answer with proof. I also had to cut the nutrient recommendation from full to about 3/4. I would show pictures but I'm a little paranoid, and I can't afford to buy another computer. The cops took my last one, and I haven't got it back yet. LOL, Their like crooks, they take anything they can sell. Anyway, thanks. I'm changing my reservoir today so I'll add the cal mag at 1/2 strength, and hope it makes the plant suck up them micro nutes.

You will find that if you do not add cal/mag by mid flower that your plants will most likely show some deficiency , Magnesium and Calcium will allow them to stay much greener and healthier as well . I grow in Coco and DWC and I use Cal/Mag with every feeding at 200 ppm and my ladies always thank me for this supplemental boost . Cal/Mag will also help with maximum yields and oil production as well . Magnesium is spread in gardens for vegetables by using epsom salts and it is a sure fire way to increase yields and as well it keeps the high producing plants healthy when the demand is on due to high production.

I agree.

The best addition I added to my basic lineup of nutes was mono Ca and mono Mg.

I found it a little hard finding the correct dose of Ca and Mg so in my situation I use a good amount (half dosage as recommended on bottle) once a week and top up the EC with my base nutes on that perticular day.

I'm two weeks into flower, and change and clean the reservoir every seven days. I changed reservoir of 7 gallons, and added 2 tablespoons of Floranova Bloom, 1 tablespoon of koolbloom, and 1 tablespoon of Calimagic. PPM was 130 before nutrients, and now reads 1180. Ph is right at 6.02, after about 5 tablespoons of PH up. It uses between 1/2 and 1 gallon of water a day. Closer to 1 gallon as the plants are getting much bigger. I have six plants in a megagarden. One is a Royal Bluematic and is much farther along than the rest. It was a free seed, otherwise I wouldn't use the auto flower strains. Other plants are, Trainwreck, Mazar, Northern Lights, Sour Diesel, and Pineapple Chunk. Seeds came from Single seed centre. That's the dope on this grow. Anyway, hope it's not too late to begin with the Calimagic, and thanks for the info.

Never to late especially with hydro! I started using cal/mag every feeding but soon realized that it wasn't required that often. Now I use it every second day, seems to be the magic number for my girls. Watch and see where your girls start to look a little stressed and shabby, they even might be starting to yellow, make a note where in the cycle and begin a week or two before. I use AN so using cal/mag in veg is not required as there is sufficient already in the mix. Good Luck

Calmag is the most important thing I give my plants and I give it to them until it's time to flush.

Nice pictures and setup. LEDs make the best pictures of weed.
