C02

Hello all,
Pretty new on the forum, but I was wondering how long a 50lb c02 tank should last in a 12x12x8 grow room.
Im using a regulator and setting the ppm for around 1250. I have had to fill it twice and it hasn't even been a month. Some of the articles I was looking at online said a 50lb tank should last several months. Im thinking the valve maybe faulty and I may have to go to a control unit that measures c02 and disperses it.

At some point, the temp or RH will get to high and you have to exhaust - It sprays to reach your set point after that.

How many times a day does this exhaust happen?

Every cpl of weeks - sounds about right...... A 4x4 tent has longer tank life! You have 9 - 4x4 tents worth of space......What does that tell you?

Explain in greater detail, just how this set up runs? How are you spraying? How often a day? Got your temps and RH set to what?

I take it your not running a controller? Better to have one!

What dr. Said.

I had the same issue as well and I quiet spraying because I couldn't control heat and spray. Now I do a diy sugar and yeast co2 generated deal from week 3-6 of flower.

I use a ventless heater let the pilot light run 24/7 cost nothing to run natural gas keeps the ppms up . best affordable co2 generator you can buy. 100 bucks with a built in low oxyjen shit off . if you had a fuzzy logic controls and your room was sealed running 12/12 your co2 would last possible 4 months with the tank your talking . I don't trust those cheap regulators junk. Look into a auto pilot co2 controller. With fuzzy logic keeps the exact desired co2 not dips at all only use fuzzy logic with a tank .never a burner .

Of your in a sealed room (which u should be running co2), you should be have a very good ac unit PLUS a deheuy. Both will allow you to do a fully sealed, NEVER needing to vent/exhaust. I don't, nor have I ever exhausted a sealed co2 room. If you do, why even bother?
