C.A.P Ebb system , hybrid RDWC build?

Hello all, I wanted to get your guys thoughts on this...

I currently have an expanded C.A.P. Ebb and Grow system, still using the 55 gal reservoir and controller bucket.

The differences are that I have a large Air stone in the res, an auto PH controller for it, and a water heater / chiller.

The system's lines are junk at this point, thinking about upgrading to 3/4" tubing to connect all the buckets, has anyone else done this? thoughts? 1"?

Should be as easy as drilling out the existing holes, and installing new barbs and lines.

Now for the big question....I want to convert this system to RDWC.

My idea is that i can run the pump 24/7, I would also add an end bucket, (probably 5 gal) which would hopefully collect any deposits, it would be lower than the res (which will be slightly elevated) it will house a return pump to the res, and will be a good place to add my nutes so they get mixed nicely before getting sent back to the buckets... could add another air stone here but probably redundant.

Would probably also drill out more holes in the inner cap buckets to allow roots to grow down into the outer buckets.

Do you guys think i should ad air-stones to every bucket? i'd really rather not and i think this will create temp issues further down the rows.

Thoughts on the whole idea'?
