Buy seeds before a major holiday!

Hey everyone. I just had one of those amazing brainstorms while lighting up a bowl with my buddy the other day and I actually wrote it down for once!

Anyways, let's say you live in the largest police state known to man (the good ol' U S of A), and you are concerned about your seeds getting swiped by customs..

Why not order seeds during a time when customs is clogged?! During the Christmas/holiday season the seeds could stand a better chance of making it through customs due to the sheer number of packages going through.

Just an idea I had.. /discuss!

yah, i think it's a pretty common thing to do when ordering anything that maybe caught by customs, simply order when they're at their busiest, ie, xmas time, valentines day. etc, etc.. :D

That's when I ordered my wife kinda wish they put holes in her crate, guess you get what you pay for

During my first grow I only had one order intercepted. This happened around a holiday. I assume they check more around holidays. For example I wouldn't want my seeds coming through NYC before/on 9/11. But this is just my opinion as I have never worked at a post office.

man, i made the mistake one time of flying back into the us on 9/11, what an effin nightmare to say the least.. all flights into the us were extremely screened.. ffs, i had to go through 2 baggage checks before i could get onto a plane in gernany. my dumb ass didn't even think about it when i booked my flight, otherwise i would have waited another day to fly home.. :D

Good idea, only it takes forever to get orders during the holidays. Last year it took 26 DAYS for a cash payment I mailed from the US to reach Vancouver Island in December.

I ordered on Black Friday last year and it was the typical 10 days to MI, no problems at all. Haven't had an issue yet with the 'Tude.
