Bury it or not??

I'm leaving almost as soon as my plant's due to mature (i'll prolly have like... a week or two to dry and smoke it). Gonna be gone for several months and i can't leave any in my freezer, so i was thinking of burying some of it? i'd be coming back right before summer starts, and it'd be nice to have a little ready for me, so i was wondering. If i dryed it out and all that, then sealed it in a glass jar (with that rubber sealing top thing) and buried it, would that be effective? Or too big a chance of bugs getting in? What do you guys think? It should be cold underground, right?

As long as you get it dry enough and it's tightly sealed, I don't think it'd be a problem.

Might want to go around the seal with a few layers of tape for extra protection, or in a ziptop bag.

i agree, burying seems fine, but duct tape the lid and all, maybe put the jars in a hefty trash bag after that, then finally bury it, and im sure youll have some bud when u get back.

gotta be bone dry,or youl cum back to a jar ov sludge from mould.but if done right it would be a nice smoke wen you get back.

word....and if you can vacuum pack it as well....but I realize thats getting complicated. but I thinhk you wanna make sure that is will not rot or go moldy right? so the moisture is the key I believe. good luck and safe travels!

aight word. i might need help telling if it's bone dry or not, but that'll come later

I'd put it in a couple ziploc bags and maybe a dessicant just to be safe. Shouldn't be a problem burying it though.

check out one of fdds threads where he was talkin bout burying some..someone posted in there a good method to do it...i think it consisted of like two bags, a jar, the more layers the better.. so bugs dont get in.....

With my luck, Id bury my stash and come back a few months later to get it....and there'd be a damn McDonalds built on top of it........LOL.

Where are you going that you cant bring it with you, are you going to Iraq or overseas or something??

Overseas, yeah. and i just don't want to, i'd rather come back to some bud. i feel like it'd be a nice "welcome home"

... bury some, seal with wax and whatnot when doing so... you should just leave you're bud out up until the point where you'd bury it, right before leaving... so that it gets dry as possible


you know you could also mail some weed ahead to where ever you are off to?
