Burning Plant To Produce More THC

A friend of mine told me today that with 2 weeks left of flowering he scraped a patch of thc off the bud of the plant, and slightly singed it with a lighter, he said that it makes the plant think its dieing which causes it to produce double the amount of thc it normally would. I really don't think this would work, it may even have a bad effect on the plant. Has anyone ever heard of this, or tried it before? If so what happened? I really cant see this doing anything but harming the plant, but you never know. Thanks guys.

Why people even bother listening to that kinda stuff boggles the mind,it's always a goofy friend with some cockamamy idea that works miracles :roll:

Black lights,sperm,poop,turtle water,rusty nail through stalk,hamster on a wheel,im amazed these guys even get a lil sprout let alone buds.

You should go slap him asap.

Did you really think that would be a good idea? Stress plants a bitt ok but no fire till you smoke them. Maybe that guy was so hard up for a hit he couldn't wait....

I hear changing the light cycle to give more light last couple weeks of flowering will increase THC and yield a bit more (was on the THC Seeds video i think)
Anybody ever try that?:eyesmoke:

He mentioned on the video some strains can go up to 14:10

yes lets add this to the horrible advise thread. Dont scrape or burn your plants with lighters anyone when theyre growing! if anything the top cola may be burnt by closeness of your HPS or other lighting and wil stunt the growth at first, then later it will grow but the colas will be fucking huge becuase the growth ares will be located closer to eachother and more nutrients going to smaller area it produces big buds
