I just finished building my growbox, saw the design on another site and i dubbed it stubby because it was my first attempt at a build and not the most suave of growboxes
there's virtually no light leaks i have solid negative pressure that is pulling in air enough to put out a lighter at about 3 inches away from the hole.
i went with a 4inch hole up top where the CFL's are mounted and a 2inch hole at the bottom to suck in air.
the box is big enough enough to fit a 18 inch plant in there without hitting the lights.. of course a little LST training and it shouldn't be a problem for a larger plant.
however there is a VERY small light leak concerning the intake i guess i didn't get enough PVC pipe but there's some very little light leakage actually just putting a shoe box in to cast a shadow over the intake will solve it but i'm wondering is this small light leak a future problem assuming i don't wanna put a shoe box to shadow over the intake?
