Builder's Screen to support buds

I have started growing 20 plants in 12 inch pots placed tightly together. I pinch and top my plants. I have 4-5 foot plants with 4-6 major cola sights per plant above the canopy in the light. During the last several weeks of my last grow it was a frickin' mess. I had limbs falling over and whole plants that just hit the deck. I tied everything up with bamboo and bailing twine, everything I could reach. I've seen pictures of people placing builders screen over their plants to support their buds. I have tried researching this technique, but am finding very little information on where and when to place the screen, the pros and cons, and other remedies to resolve this issue. Does anyone have any helpful info. or links to sights where I can research this further. Thanks!

The builder's screens I've seen are mostly to hold the buds down in scrogs. They use those to make sure the plants are equidistant from the light. Most of the growers don't mind if the colas lean over a bit because it lets more light get through the canopy. I think it's more common for people to tie them down than to hold them up.
