I use the same coots-style amendments outside in my outdoor veggie garden beds as I do inside, and my garden is pretty happy. I haven’t added anything since amending in February. I’d say it’s definitely possible, but it can get expensive. I buy stuff in bulk and take advantage of free shipping offers whenever possible. - alfalfa, rock dust, kelp meal, crabmeal, guano, oyster shell.
Edit : if it’s too hot, you can always cut it with something inert like pro-mix to dilute it.
Thank you so much for your response, that’s pretty much what I did with this seed starting mix that is fairly weak. Baby Rootz probably the best seed soil I’ve ever used because it is so fluffy. The stuff is like air and everything does really well in it. We’ll see how this thing goes.
I’ve been buying some vegetable gardening, soil and planting kale/ strawberries and some sweet potatoes, all of them did absolutely terrible. And when I go and feel the soil after a few watering, it’s really hard and compact.
It’s from Home Depot so I should’ve known what I was getting into
On the other hand, I plant the same plants in a hydroponic set up and they took off.
It’s really weird because I’m decent at growing my favorite plant but when it comes to growing tomatoes outside, I do absolutely terrible.
you can see the poppy with the yellowing lower leaves. I just transplanted.
I know that peppers can handle a pretty heavy feeding so I’m not too worried about those in the 3.0. Trying to find a balance in the hydroponics set up to where I can grow different types of plants with one reservoir, but figuring it all out is a little difficult due to trial and error.
Probably get us gonna continue to do leafy green type of plants because I won’t have to go into a flowering stage
Appreciate your help so much thank you
