Bugs in soil help

i have what look like tiny gnats in my soil what do i do?

Buy some Miracle-Gro Bug Spray then when u done spraying on it wait like 1-2min then shower the plant with some water to rinse it off.

put one of those yellow sticker thing if its not that severe

if they are little black ones that seem to come in biblical numbers and hang around the soil and under the light canoy then they are fungas gnats.

had same problem last grow.

beat way to get rid of them, by experience, is to:

dose with Gnat Off to kill larvae - goes in feed water or nutrient solution so does not affect bud taste

hang some of those sticky traps under lights to kill adults

put and or clay pebbles wver soil surface of pots to deter adults from burrowing and egg laying.

mine were sorted in a week.

important you do something, as larvae will cause severe damage to plant roots

sorry that should have been "sand and clay pebbles"- have bad habit of not reading through before i post - but then i'm not anally retentive so i couldn't give two shits!

damn i been growing for a while and i never had a bugg or a fungus or mold problem i sterelize the hole room,lights pots and i spray bugg poison around the room i prob spend only like 14 bucks on everything to clean the grow room takes about 1 hour half make sure u clean wall floor everything sterelize with 99% alcohol i dont like bleach smell but its all good if theres a window to let the smell out

i always thought it was a waste of time but as most growers i'm paranoid to loose a crop

used some bug stop and it seems to helping, thanks for the input. Id hate to lose my first grow over something like this.

I use diatamacaeus earth and sand.I think it stunts the growth a little cause the roots doesn`t breath as well but keeps Gnats down to a minimum
