Bug infestation in soil help???

Okay i had started with miracle grow soil and it has a small black flying bugs similar to fruit flys!! they are a pest. i want to know if it would be safe to drain the soil out safely of the containers my plants are in and then replace it with a new different soil that i purchased. would that be shocking to the roots of the plants!!! is it possible?? they are in thier 7th week:weed:

they are fungal gnats. Every damn bag of soil I buy at home depot is full of their eggs... You water your plant and the next day you got thousands of those bastards... Then they lay more eggs and the cycle just keeps going... You need to wait as long as you can in between waterings to let that top few inches of soil really dry out. Rake the top layer every day to allow fresh air and light penetrate the surface. Those gnats feed on the microscopic fungus that grows on the soil. So by keeping it dry and raking it you eliminate that fungus from growing and slowly the gnats will become less and less

This works as well and is the method I use, they'll soon disappear doing this.:bigjoint:
