Buds not filling out?

These two plants have been flowering since August 17th. The buds themselves feel pretty dense when I give them a light squeeze but they're quite small and aren't filling in together like I feel they should be. I'm not sure what strain it is only that the seeds were in a bag I got that originated from a Colorado dispensary. I think it was Strawberry Cough or some kind of Kush its been over a year since then so I'm just speculating at this point. I had an extensive yellowing problem caused by NPK and Mg deficiencies and recently a broken branch that had to be set with a splint but it doesn't appear to have skipped a beat overall. Yellowing of the leaves seems to have stopped altogether. Heres a little background on my medium and feeding schedule

Miracle Grow Nature's Choice Raised bed amended with about 1/3 perlite.
15ml Biothrive Bloom
10ml GH Florabloom
5ml Biobud Bloom Booster
5ml CaMg+

One is in a 14 gallon recycle bin the other is in a 25 gallon pot. This is how the buds are looking now.

My other little lady is doing great with this feeding schedule and is going into its 7th week in a few days; currently at 45 days flowering. Heres the big dense buds on my little one compared to the big plants.

I was figuring that considering its bag seed its kind of a mystery to me what strain they actually are or what the flowering time should be. Right now I'm just hoping they'll finish before we get a good frost. Had a narrow miss last week it dropped down to 36°.

Its pretty crazy though the difference in the two plants. I'm assuming they're different phenos one smells like flowers the other almost like turpentine.

Some strains aren't huge yielder man.but just give it time. They fill in a lot the last 2 weeks
i was going to say the same thing.. some strains grow this big donkey dick buds, and some strains will produce what they call golf balls sized nugs.. all strain dependent really..
they look nice though, and they're filling out from what i can see in the pix, they're just not the big donkey dick type of colas is all..
nice job though, congrats..

Thanks its been a rough ride and I've leanred a lot thanks to this board and others like it. I plan on posting up a whole after grow journal so to speak when they're done. Its so cool to start off with just a seed and end up with 6 foot trees :bigjoint:
