Buds lost smell

I trimmed my buds and put them in mason jars with integra boost packs and burped them accordingly for 2 weeks, the smell got even stronger but last night the house was very hot and when I got up this morning the buds were dry ass shit and breaking them selves down, obviously them sitting in the heat over night dried them out too much, if I put them in a cooler room and start burping them again will the smell come back?

New timer here. Haven’t even had my first grow, which I’m currently in right now. But before starting I did my research before just dumping money into something I didn’t know I learned anything about how to do.

which in short basically to use the packs when the bud is too dry.

Again, with the lack of experience, I can’t say for sure but I would think maybe the packs were used to early.

depending on the state they were in when first placing them in jars, I would think naturally the jar would be in an ideal humidity level in the beginning since there is still moisture and then later use the packs depending your “curing” style and how long you go for
