buds done filling out

sorry if this has already been covered but ive looked everywhere and even tried wording it different, so ill just ask,.. all i want to know is how to tell when buds are done filling out, are they done filling out when trichs are mostly cloudy or are they still filling out in that time? i ask because mine are pretty much cloudy and it seems they arent filling out anymore and i was really hoping they would, also i want to wait for almost 50-50 on cloudy/amber trichs, ive lost trac of time since flowers showed, dont even have a idea of when, and i cant get pics, just want to know when the buds are done filling out? before or after trichs start turning, any help will be greatly appriciated, and please no smart asses, ill delete this when i get a few answers to compare if i have to,.. thanks in advance

yea most of them are cloudy should be going amber soon but my buds just aint as big as they should be i,ve kept the light close all the time, like for exaple, i took one of the middle area buds off yesterday, it was decent size, and i set it on a dime to dry and today i wake up and its like less than half the size of the dime, and since i did 12/12 from seed pretty much with 2 weeks veg,.. most the buds are the size of a dime except the top ones and from all the pics ive seen it should just pretty much be one bud,.. with cfl, .. but the crappy yet good part is i did 4 seeds from bag and was expecting two to be female, well all 4 came out female so all 4 of my lights had to be distributed to them, and its in a small area, maybe thats the prob,...
