Buds are forming in a weird way

Hey guys,
I am having some really weird problem that I hope someone from you could identify.

I had this 1 old fem seed(NL5xHaze). I was afraid that I might not be able to sprout her due to her age etc, so I used Giberellic Acid(GA3). She sprouted quickly, and was stretchyng like crazy through the grow. Stretch was observed by many people who used it so I did not worry too much.
When I switched her to flower problems started to appear. First I saw a lot of nanners forming, so a week I was looking closely and eliminating every male flower that I came across. Then buds started to form and this thing in the pic happened. Plant is more concentrated on stretching rather than making calyxes.
So I wanted to ask, did anyone who used GA3 in the past had anything similar?
Cheers

Woah, that's annoying looking haha.. sorry not too familiar with the stuff but seeing how the plant looks healthy, may just be mutated genetics bro

Well I doubt that it could be reveg. There was some light leak, but indirect and very poor. And two other plants were blocking that light and they are blooming just fine.

This is another top of her with more leafs visible.

This is some bottom branch

This is all four tops

And this is a plant in general. Topped for 4.

The silver traces on leaves are signs of thrips. I keep fighting them with some bio spray. They seem to die on contact but quickly respawn and if I spray a lot then new growth gets burned. So in case somebody know some anti thrip thing that is safe to use during flowering or works very effectively in general, would be glad to hear advises.

Also had her one time underwatered and lost a lot of bottom fan leaves. But leaves so far seems to be suffering from thrips

btw, could the stretch be related to high temps? I had problems controlling it for a while, but it was around 90 during light hours and I've never had anything similar under those conditions..

Thanks guys for responses!

ive seen this once before. I had blamed bad genetics and heat stress during veg. i ended up choping it down early to make space in my room so not sure if it will finish with ok results or what. good luck, wish i had more info for ya. btw how many weeks into flower?

She's 6.5 weeks into. Well, ill let her finish. I still have a clone of her. Will try to self it and see if her seeds will react the same way. Somehow i believe it was disturbed by something that will not pass on

I would hash it and move on. You can waste alot of time trying to make something into what is not. just my 2cents. I am sure you could find a better replacement?...

Gibberellic acid or Gibberellin, is a plant hormone used mostly to enhance germination, so why would you use it on a plant..? it don't make sense ..anyway you stressed it to fuck as a result is now a firm Herm...as above ^^^. trash it, and be thankful that any Gibberellic acid remains don't screw with your DNA ...lol

as an experienced grower i would have chopped that down a long time a go. its to total waste of power and at this point its obvious it will be... don'[t worry new plants grow fast

I did not trash it cause a bit over a week ago it was looking like this:

At that time it was looking like it was about to heavy pack some stuff.

I did not use giberellic acid later, only on soaking seed for first 24hours

And i can always trash it, it's just that i got this only one old school trusted genetics seed and wanted to give it a go. Also i'm more interested in learning what happened, rather than reseting..
Very interesting wordz, did not consider trait being a posibility.

Thanks ppl for the input, appreciate!

I had a plant do that about 30 years ago...it was a bag seed ..no banks then...grew so screwy...never smoked it ..just let it grow...till frost got it...it was like yours..the buds started branching...must have been one of those crazy mexican paraquat plants..lol...

^ This. I wouldn't want to keep that thing around. If hermies that easily the seeds will too. Also, I would blame all of the things you listed as the potential cause, genetics, light leaks and heat.

Shit genetics are shit genetics you could be the best grower in the world but if the genetics suck well to bad. The other two things you can fix on your side by dialing in your grow room a little better.

I've had this problem before when i took feminized plant pollen to make more seed again with the same feminized plants which made more male flowers then female made it real stringy and all screwed up
