bud size vary

im using a 400 watt hps over an ebb and flow with 2 plants in the system . plants are budding but one of the plants are budding better than the one not directly under the light. mylar and diamond reflective material is surronded 36o. what can i do to make the light hit both of the plants equally. i was thinking about raising it but did not want it to lose the amount of lumens the plant receives.

when you grow 2 plants thats common. under a 400 if you did many smaller plants they would average out. nothing you can do. it could of been a minor injury it sustained at a seedling or anything else but it happens. just grow it. good luck.
