Bud rot! To harvest or not to harvest?

3 days of heavy rain and after a thorough examination of my plants I noticed a very small spot about the size of a dime of Bud rot! See photos. I was wondering if I could just cut off this bud / branch and let the plant grow for a while longer. Or should I not take any chances and harvest what I got now? I'm open to suggestions. On a side note the next two to three days supposed to be dry and sunny out! I would at least like to let the plant go until just before the next rain. Suggestions?20191012_105808.jpg

Every time i check when i think i have bud rod i find a little worm in there that seems to have legs of lighting, check close and leave them out longer, if you can.

Yeah I agree with you both, since it's forecast to be dry, I'd leave them out until just before the next rain, but in the meantime, go over everything with a fine tooth comb because I'm sure it's those caterpillars' poops that start the budrot, at least that's what I experienced in the plant in my profile pic. She actually looked similar to yours, and was harvested not long after that photo was taken, due to those white cabbage moth/butterfly caterpillars and about a week of rain forecast.

I would cut 2” below that spot of bud rot and let the plant finish. I spray hydrogen peroxide straight on the cut to prevent the bud rot from spreading. And then spray the clippers/scissors I used to make the cut. Sometimes I will even mist the whole plant with straight peroxide! Bud rot sucks! I even spray the bud rot with peroxide and throw it away☹
