Buckets, bags, pots?

Just a quick question for everyone out there. What's my best bet for containers? I'm growing soil, the past plant or two having issues with gnats.

I've used grow bags, but I can only find them up to 7 gal.
This previous grow I used giant 15 gallon pots (the plant was large enough) but it ended up actually messing with my feeding schedule because of how much water it held. (Gnats eating roots may have caused less absorption too)

I would just like to know what you all use. I don't want it to hold water for a week, but it can't dry out in 2 hours either

I like root pouches, basically smart pots at 1/4 of the price. They out performed my plastic square pots almost two fold, faster growth in veg, bigger buds in flower, all around a great product. http://www.greenhousemegastore.com/product/root-pouch-grey-fabric-pot-3-4-year/root-pouches are the ones I use. Look around they have disposable ones too for pennies depending on size.

For gnats get Gnat Nix from growstones and put a layer on top of your soil. It stops them from digging as they get cut trying to do so. I highly recommend getting Growstones GS-2 soil aerator and mix it in like perlite, shit is amazing!

I use Neem Seed Oil from Dyna-Gro as an organic pest control maintenance program.
