hi ive recently made some bud run bubble hash and experimented by rolling the hash by hand and it formed a ball but its more like a taffy then other hash ive seen. My question is what could cause this? the hash melts and bubbles under flame and is extremely malleable but its just different.

Good full melt ice water hash will be Puddy constancy. But it should be dried properly before pressed together. And then once you press can be cured long term and will become more crumbly over time.
I press in thick plastic. Warm water in a wine bottle and roll it out till forms “brick”. Then cure long term.
First it should be like sand and dried. Then pressed. This is important step for me.

Hey so how much did you end up getting? Was debating doing a 9 ounce approx full plant thats really frosty. Did you dry it then make it or is it made before weeds dry. Was going to buy bags just debating if its wrth it.
I did 4 ounce runs through 5Gal bags and got back around an ounce wet weight. The 100u was 11 grams dry and the 73u was 8 was grams. The 73u was full melt and the 100u was half melt. Haven't used any of the other u's yet . We were doing straight trim and realized it's not really worth it and turned to edibles. Also we used dryed and cured buds, was my first time using bud so i have nothing to compare it to sorry. Hope this helps.
