Bubba Kush, 8 weeks from the flip

I feel like im really close to harvest with my bubba kush. But its my first realllly indica dominant grow and i dont wanna blow it. I so need this to be a good chill smoke

8 weeks and a day since i flipped to 12 12

Im about 36 hours away from my next res change.

Should i keep feeding nutes or start my flush?

I was guesstimating a harvest 70 days from the flip and starting flush on 65.

But im only at day 57, 58 by the time the lights come back on tomorrow.

Lots of cloudy, all the hairs have receded.

Sorry for the poor magnification pics, it's quite difficult holding a phone and that scope together. All bud shots, no sugar leaf.

Nice - they are way high in N though, so stop feeding now, and maybe flush a bit if you think your soil is hot? Those trichs look like 1 or 2 more weeks- i don't see any ambers, and i see a lot of clear trichs still...

Another two weeks would give them time to fade before harvest too, which will drastically improve the quality of your finished product

Thanks guys, im in hydro...it drank a bunch of water and i hadnt checked it so i think thats why the N shot up, i added 2 gallons of plain water just before the pics.

Should be better now but im gonna cut nutes way back when i change res tomorrow.

She def has an earthy smell

I’ve grown a few crops that look like this, they don’t seam to grow too much after day 40 ish. Just more leaves and resin.
I’m also a hydro guy so I thought it had something to do with that. As said above does too much N cause this?or is this just a genetics thing?

Shes really close, taking it day by day on Trichs....id say 80-90% milky, a few ambers but i still see some clear trichs too

I dropped to 50% nutes about 10 days ago and have been adding plain water every few days to further dilute it.

Friday started flushing w plain water, shes just startin to eat herself today. Im thinking Wednesday at the latest. So 3-4 days

Kinda.....hard to get too excited when ya gotta wait another month or 2 before its really ready to smoke.

But i water cure an oz or two when i harvest to have something to hold me over. 5-7 days in water, 24ish hr dry time on a rack an ya got fresh meds that dont turn into roofing tar in a pipe

Man I haven't done a water cure in over five years! I remember how smooth the smoke was.. no flavor though.
For early smoke I just throw some smaller buds in a paper bag and leave it in an area with lots of air exchange. For me it's a table near a heat vent. Drys in a few days.
Actually I lied, last harvest I did a water cure, forgot about the shit though never changed the water and ruined it! Oops!

Ha!! I said water cure, not water cereal....man that sucks.

Ive tried a few ways quick drying and it always ended up harsh and dirty. Sure water cure cuts the taste down but the high imo doesnt diminish.

Gonna try a shorter cure and see how it is, ive had a few guys say take it to 3-5 days instead of 7-10 and it retains some flavor.

Correct, if you waited till 25 -30% amber you'd never get off the couch.
To me, your girl looks about 90 cloudy and just a hint of amber starting, a more energetic buzz

Well its done, takin a break this afternoon, then have to get things ready for the bubba kush clones i have ready to go.

Its 40-50% humidity in the grow room today.

to dry i cut small holes at the bottom on 2 opposing sides, then just have the top lightly closed.

Used mesh cut to size but left some extra to protrude/poke through the cardboard.

Cant decide if i should add a pc fan inside or not, or if just passive air exchange is enough. Im fine if they take a month to dry so long as i dont get mold.

Put some in a water cure too so i have something to smoke sooner, im bout out lol.
