Come on let's hear it. Anything you have heard or know to be true when it comes to harvesting.

There are no wrong answers, this is no test. I just want to do some research and get a fix on how I am going to
proceed with my grow that's approaching it's end of days. I'm open to all ideas/methods to get the best bang I can get
out of my very first grow.


I know I can easily google shit up and run with internet mumbo jumbo... But I like it here.. I'd rather talk to the badass
community of RIU!

I think you are missing my point. Of course I know I can search into ancient threads.. but why be subjected to info that's probably outdated?
Tho I appreciate you trying to point me in the right direction.. the thread was created to get an idea of what's floating around now.. not 2011.

Most posts in there are all ppl wondering when to harvest their plants. I'm here to work on mine and be social at the same time.

I am still searching around the threads in the link tho. So don't think I'm tossing your input out the window

What kind of timeline am I looking at for a response to a question about a post from 2011 from a user that hasn’t been on here for over 90 days?

Just go through the first few pages of new posts, no need to go back to '11. This question gets asked everyday

Question for you.....why give so much "advice" and not even finish your first grow?

The issue with that is... I have to search everything to see what I am looking for today. Cuz the directory isn't very detailed. If I have 1 issue with my nutes... I have to click every thread til I find something more specific to what info I lack. I can't depend on the newer posts in the thread to help me.

Have you seen me giving harvest advice? If I jump in and explain something to someone it's because I have either done it myself, or been witness in a long time friends grows who is no longer here to guide me. If I haven't done it myself physically.. I would never say "Do this" Thats just fake news.

I posted in Toke & Talk.. Not toke and have some random come thru and blow my high. If you can't contribute to what I'm asking move along Darin.

I'm not here to free load.. I give advice when I can and I ask when I need it. Sending me to the history books is going to confuse the shit outta me.. I've done the searching here. I've read countless threads. I still don't have enough confidence to run thru this harvest solo, and I'm reaching out.

You have come to an established T&T community here with its own customs, and you are trying to go across the grain. DarkWeb pointed out something important, and you became offensive. I do not see a good future for you here, if this is how you will choose to present yourself.

Also, your disparagement of mask-wearing is noted.

There is no universal correct way to harvest. Most of us here have tried every way under the sun because we like to experiment and come up with our own theories and analysis. What I use to do when I grew weed.

1. Chop and hang the whole plant upside down in my unlit flower room with some fans moving the air around.
2. After a couple days I get bored and chop all the fan leaves off whilst still hanging.
3. After a couple more days, whilst still hanging, I do a rough trim of the sugar leaves and save the trimmings for bubble hash.
4. After a couple more days, I go branch by branch and final trim the weed and put it into a jar with a hygrometer.
5. I open the jar a couple times a day depending what the relative humidity shows on the hygrometer in the jar.
6. I do this for a week or two. Or months.
7. I come here and ask people for nudes in between all of these steps.
8. Do you have any nudes?

Dark's 1st reply was a logical response. Then a question was asked. I answered, and also explained my dilemma with looking thru old posts and I have looked. I got nowhere in 3 weeks time. I am not just starting to read up on harvesting and all the theories.. I have been trying to prepare but i'm coming in to crunch time.. so again i'm reaching out. So far I got 1 link (Which I've already been to for the past 3 weeks) and that was the only positive/actual answer to the post.

This isn't a "Harvest my plant for me thread" I just came to shoot the shit and see if there's anything I can learn.

Your very 1st reply to this thread was a definitive answer. Case closed. Help received. But you called the information "ancient" and "outdated". Time-tested is what a normal science believing person would call it. A couple of your comments about fake news and masks leads me to believe you have a problem with believing facts and advice if they don't fit your prerogative and narrative.
