I have 1 moby dick fem plant and i was wondering if i could take some clones off of it run them 12/12 and not harvest them they will grow bananas (the male part) and then i could use the polen on a branch of the mother plant this would give me identical genetics and would this produce a good seed?

That will not happen naturally. You can stress the plant, and cause it to hermi, but then the seeds will have a higher probability to be hermies as well.
A better idea is to use some Colloidal Silver to turn a plant into a pollen producing female.
Then you can breed your girls, and produce feminized seeds.

I knew that if you do not harvest a female and let it flower for way more than its supposed too it will start growing bananas as an effort too polinate.

I have heard wispers of certain strains that throw of nanners late in flower at like week 10 consistently. I dont know if its the lack of pollen or a last ditch survival tactic, or genetics . Personally i avoid and kill off anything with nanners ... (not week ten , but by week 3-4) any way. i just had to give up my blue widow mother because this very reason , week 8 every BW had nanners for the last 2 grows (no light leaks) , time to move on.. I would just use collodial silver (12 bucks on amazon) and make 100s of consistent female seeds... Though i did keep all my BW hermi seeds just incase , i dont know if they will be females but its something

That is a new one to me, but then again... I never let my girls grow past their prime.
If that is true, wouldn't that be a type of stress?
Stressed plants producing male parts (hermaphrodite) will pass that trait to the next generation through the seeds. Correct me if I am wrong, but that would still be a bad thing to do.

i love my amber triche's because of 2 herniated disks in my back, that a 100% personal preference i know. but i feel an extra week or 2 really gets the plants geared towards my needs , and sometimes it leads to plants trowing off nanners that open but never really form seeds in the extra week or more , or ( a lot ) more often a new burst of fresh pistils burst out and the top buds put out 5-10%more but the new growth is a bit more wispy
ps. im sure 100% its a form of stress of sorts at week 10 (i love sativas so not exactly) , but at 8 weeks its not exactly "past their" prime

i've read on plenty forums that if you leave a female long past its prime it will try growing bananas too polinate other plants, if you use that polen on another female there u have feminized seeds...correct me if i am wrong ! I will try this tho and in 6 months i will give u a response

i love the white from raskal never had a problem ever with it dont know how it could be.. but its fire also the quang og came from a fem seed cuz the clinic didnt want to give out the genetics they laughed at us yet the mom was liquid coke og and i couldnt get her back a patient found a seed in all the weed he kept buying and buying and buying even down to the shake was sold for regular nug price at 400 a zip and finaly i got a call and guess what? the quang og came out just the same no problems from one seed in a bag!! as of yet its been almost a year im running her right now
it took about 1200 in buying quarter ounces at a time but it was worth it.. it can be a hit and miss... but in my case way worth the it supper yielder.. loving her..

Yes. It can be done, and it has been done by many growers.
What you are attempting to do is also know as selfing. In theory, the seeds should produce offspring identical to the mother.
Keep in mind that feminized seeds is nothing more than a by product of stress induced hermaphroditism. Feminized seeds are good for personal use.
I would also like to add that there are reasons/theories why a grower should refrain from using feminized seeds for breeding projects.

Thank you all for your helpfull replies I will try this as seeds are very expensive in my area and thats why i want to make my own seeds...I'll let you know how it goes ! My moby dick is just showing its tap root
Atm my plan is: Start it indoors, after 1 month plant it outdoors in the ground, take some clones inside put them in 12/12 and hopefully get some polen out of them and then apply it to a few branches outdoors on the motherplant according to my logic this should produce Identical offspring...Hopefully this seed has great genes !
If i get around 80-100G and 50+ seeds i will say i am satisfied !

As soon as they open and drop pollen which can be anywhere from a few
Hours to a few weeks after showing balls. (I stress the "could be hours "part
because often times it is only hours or days)
