When self pollinating a plant how long after I manually pollinate do I hose the plant down with water and put back with the others?

I think Nspecta (csi Humboldt seed co.) said in a podcast that 24 hrs after manual pollination he sprays the plant down with water and returns it to the grow room.
In your case you will be selfing the plant, I’ve never done that but I assume you have to remove the reversed portion of the plant atleast so it doesn’t keep dropping pollen?

I usually go a few days with a bag on a bud then I mist and place it away from the others but under the same light source. A little goes a long way.....

I've never hosed mine after pollinating, I just cut that branch off at the bottom after I get what I need. I haven't had any cross pollination with this method yet.

Once that bud is sticky the pollen stays.... Plus You can look it up, moisture is pollen's worst enemy.
