Never grown them but I would love to try it just for fun. Do a journal if you grow them as I'm sure a lot of us would like to see that. You might want to set the lights at something like 11/13 as I've read that this is beneficial with flowering pure sativas like this. Good luck.
Hi Therapy Man
They can be left in the corner of your grow room on 12's, will work ok. Better to take a rooted clone and flower as soon as roots are nicely formed, bigger pots as you go. This will work nicely to control them, even so, expect 8ft or more of plant.
What I would honestly suggest, if it would be your first time growing Sativa's pure Indoors, to try one of our ''oldskool'' hybrids, maybe Colombian Punto Rojo x Afgani, these are 12 to 14 weeks and whilst still being massive plants as any true F1 will be they are more controlled. Our number8, is also a excellent 1st step, beautiful plants, Colombian/Haze Purple x Chitrali1 Purple.
Both these have 80' or more percent of the quality of high of the pure's, they are more potent in some respects, but the absolute el primo quality of highs are the pure lines, Will take you soaring, for long times, wandering through many different phases and a Black Haze will take you places you may not know exist, lol, surprises me many times too.. either in hybrid form or not, we select from large seed starts true elites and you will maybe surprised at what quality can be found outside of mainstream seedhawks. Another line worth trying would be SourFruit in auction at BBAY 25USD.
Reason I say this is most may never have actually grown a true 50% Indica/Sativa, they have massive vigour, huge growth rate from hetrosis. Most lines you see today, like Skunk or so advertised as Sativas are mostly Indica.
All the above excellent 1st steps into the true tropical Sativas and their ways.
If you can stand the time in flower, they will deliver legendary quality highs and smiles. Get the Black Haze, this will take you to the stars.
Peace, HHF
