Bredding Question, Homemade Land Race Strain?

ok everybody, i have a idea but i need some opinions as to if it's worth doing,

i live in a cool, wet, shitty soil enviroment and it gets to 12/12 3 and a 1/2 weeks before first frost, i have collected a bunch of outdoor seeds as well as some autoflowering genetics and what i was thinking is putting a bunch of seeds in the middle of nowhere and letting nature do the breeding work for natural selection in my area over a few years, if i did this i would be starting out with a bunch of different strains so there will be a bunch of diverse genetics for "mother nature" to work with, my main conceren is that becase im at a northeren lattitude my climate tends to breed for less thc but it gets higher cbn or cbd (cant remember which) will this work or will it just grow the first summer and never come back again, and if it do come back, should it retain it's canabanoid traits or would it revert to ditch weed after a few generations

what do ya think, i dont want to waste good seeds unless it will probably work to create a strain bred for my climate, kinda like a on purpose bred land race

also, cannabis is a invasive species, does anyone have any experience for how long it takes to invaid a area because it would be a bit sketchy to go back in a few years and find thousands of plants

there must be some old hippy's who did something similar to what im thinking, any expertise is much appreciated

it's all a waste of time and seed.
you don't need 12/12 for flowering to start BTW that's just a convienient standard.
Landrace Sativas are an exception.

my guide book says anything under 16 hours daylight is possible, all depend what area the genetics originated from.
Dr Greenthumb has a Iranian Indica phenotype that will bloom less than 24 hours light.
That's the one you want to breed with as it has no ruderalis in it so it's THC levels are as high as regular strains.
