Most of us here are not in grow friendly areas. Don't sweat it. Just don't post any personally identifying info about yourself and wipe the metadata if you decide to post any pics.
The gov has bigger fish to fry than to go after internet people just discussing homegrow.

Yeah, I think people with legal grows in this forum are just a few. I live in Spain, you can't legally grow here, but it isn't illegal either. Anyway if someone here wants to mess with you and you have a strong smell coming out of your house, the police can issue a "register order". If you sell it to other people, you will get jail time. If you don't you will get fined. Unless you are careful and buy a good carbon filter, and most important, don't tell anyone. Ever. Not even your best friend. It will cause you problems. Trust me on this one.

Nobody gives a fuck, if you aren't running at least ten thouies in flower they couldn't give less of a shit. I know a few cops here in Mordor who would really rather not bust your stupid home grow, so if you don't act like a dumbass about it or try to "get rich quick" doing it then they don't care. The resources to monitor you sufficiently are likely non-trivial, and if they are already watching you you are already fucked.
If you're small-time just don't make them bust you because of some retarded domestic disturbance, and you'll probably be OK.
RIU apparently strips exif metadata off of pictures that are uploaded. I've tested it, seems they strip it all off for you. What's exif data, and why should you care?
Upload some pictures from your phone to this site, you'll probably be able to see the geolocation of where it was taken, along with a vast array of other stuff.

Don't worry about it, worry more about securing your grow so as to give no law enforcement officer a reason to be suspicious. Id venture to say nearl;y noone on this site is growing "legally" at least no one in America.

This is terrible advice, i know MANY people who have been arrested by DEA taskforces with way less than 10x1000. Just make sure you always keep under 99 root systems

Super true, as the police technically cant even get a warrant even if they knew who you were just for posting information that could be total BS. Though it could put them onto your trail if they really wanted too, but they still need probable cause for the warrant, so if they show up to snoop and there is nothing suspicious just internet posts will never be enough.

I know people in CA that have been arrested and charged with felonys and forced to plea because the state DA threated to turn them over to the feds. They had 5 1000's and about 150 plants 75 in bloom 75 in veg. If they had 99 plants they would likely have gotten off scott free because the feds wont prosecute under 99 plants, bigger fish to fry (99 plants = mandatory federal prison) so the state loses their power over you. These were grows that were technically LEGAL UNDER CA LAW. Moral of story, 99 plants with roots, no more!

Don't be stupid and hook up a proper carbon filter. I am here out of need. My last dealer ripped me off pretty badly and the only other source would require me to "smuggle" it between states in an extremely high security area. This is my smartest/best option and I've become somewhat fond of it (we'll see how hydro treats me), have fun.
