It's funny, I have some PK about 2-3 weeks from harvest. It's a very resinous strain and the high is medium, meaning you can blaze and still get the day on. The potency is not diminished by the purple color as in many other purple strains. PK holds true to it's indica genetics. $100 is great. That's practically giving it away.

I grow Purple Krush. It is a hybrid of a Orange Krush (Sativa) and a Purple Afghani (Afghanica). From what I understand it isn't Purple Kush. I have a few pics of her growing in my gallery. If the Purple Kush is anything like my Purple Krush...it is a pretty potent plant, but I wouldn't call it one hit quit if your a heavy smoker. It does have a couch lock to it...but mainly at the end. Check out my pics to see her growing...not the biggest plants...but I think they are pretty....

There is a Purple Kush dude. The only strain w/ "Krush" in the name I thought was "Grape Krush" from D.J. Short. And I misread b4... $175 for a 1/4 is high man(no pun intended!!!)

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I am not saying that there is no Purple Kush. I was stating that what I grow is Purple Krush. It was bred by some people in the Emerald Triangle in Northern California. Orange Krush was bred by Vic High, and the Purple Afghani is self explanatory. I have been talking with a well known breeder about this (he is a member of this site, subcool.) He doesn't know of the origins of this particular strain. The only people I have seen have it are a tight knit group of people here in Northern Cali. I was told when the genetics were given to me, that they are on a very strict "No share basis"...and that I was to never let it get outside of my hands. Much like the M-39 strain. By the way, have you read DJ Shorts book? I want to get a hold of his T.F. (True Floral A.K.A. Temple Flo). I apologize for any confusion I may have caused. MMMM....speaking of the Purple....I gotta go....she calls my name! Hope I was able to clear things up a bit for you my friend....I'll burn one for ya!

Depends on your definition of one hit wonder. I define it as I can take one hit and tell you if it's some potent stuff or not by how strong it hits me back. LOL. Not to say one hit should get you outright stoned to the bone, but that it would at least let you know you were smoking on some top-o-the-shelf cannabis. It's all in your definition I guess....

Now prob. bro . Nah I haven't read Shorts book. I didn't even know he wrote one. Is it like Jorge's?

Shorts book is a lot less informative than Jorge's...I own both...Chimera's breeding chapter at the end of Jorge's book had a lot more information. Short's section on breeding in his own book was only helpful in understanding the background on and how we could get the old heritage strains back...such as the true Thai's and Highland Mexicans like Oaxaca's and the like. He had a nice little diagram of the different smells and tastes that are so diverse among cannabis and he gave some of his personal background and opinion's on breeding, and top-line strains. Other than that, Chimera's chapter in the grow bible had everything and more than in Shorts book. I bought both books because I like to cross examine breeder's techniques and opinions. I am looking into getting into the medical breeding field. I already have a number of genetics to work with such as the aforementioned purple krush, pineapple haze, OG kush, and some other unknown strain.
