thats pretty much it. my grow bag is sitting on a tarp on the ground and it stays colder than the room temp and also damp after watering. i was wondering if i should put them on something so that it drys better and doesn't stay cold but not sure if its really a problem..... thanks again riu

You are thinking to much. Dont read into every little thing.... " I named my plant Julie but yesterday I accidentally called her Jessica is this a problem"? no

well for bryon i'm a beginner so i'm tryin to make sure i'm not making any obvious mistakes. i have heard of root rot and stuff and didn't know if that could cause it or any other type of mold. But styrofoam sounds like it will work perfectly. as always thanks riu

Definitely add penlite to your soil as it will aid in aeration and prevent wet soggy conditions at the bottom of the growing medium. Bought some today at Home Depot for $4.

how cold is it where you live? it gets quite cold here in winter and just propping them up on anything and getting them up off the cold insulating floor helps alot i just use 3 gallon bucket turned upside down.

edit- throw em back down on the floor late flowering to bring out the purple:weed:

If you'r floor is cold you SHOULD put your pots on something.
If the roots get cold the plant will get stressed.

A plastic box works well.

Roots should have a temp over 16°C.
