Hello,
After having done a lot of reading on deficiencies, diagnostics my plants still have the same symptoms.
- Light: I have 8 plants under 300w 1w led 20" away. 20/4 timing.
- Age: The plants are 3 weeks old from when i put the seeds to germinate straight in rockwool.
- Medium: They are now in net pots with neoprene collars, no medium. With a little remaining of the 1inch rockwool cubes.
The roots are just shooting out of the net pot.
- Temps: Room is around 77F with 65% to 70% humidity, water temp and root zone around 66F to 72F. The reservoir is separate from the root chamber, i've got air stone in the tank. Fan blowing air indirectly at the plants.
- Ph: I've been keeping it around 5.8 to 6.2 at the start, but the plants started showing those signs, i tried to lower it to 5.5, then 5.2 but it's not doing better. Should i go back to 6.2?
- EC: My water has an EC or 0.7, i've been adjusting my total EC at 1.0 in the reservoir, my friend had them on 2.0 for 3 days. But one of the plant was already like this before the one that is very discolored. Since then i went back to 1.1 with no progress, then 1.4 still nothing.
- I'm using Pachamama VG organic growth only with NPK 4-2-8
- Watering: low pressure pump and sprinklers. They are getting nicely wet. I was watering 15min every 60min before, but now 15min every 30min as i don't want the roots to dry up. 15min every hour during the night and i mist them after the light goes off.
The EC is constant in the tank i think and the PH is raising slowly.
They are still growing, it's my first grow so i cannot tell if they are growing fast of slow, but it seems rather slow. One lost her bottom leave and hasn't grown for a week. I also lost two seedlings last week due to leaf yellowing.
- Strains: I have 3 laughing buddha (2x are the best looking ones, 1 has been quite pale since the start but growing well, now bottom leave are yellowing). 2 strawberry cough and 1 blue cheese doing all right with some yellow spot and bottom leaf yellowing, and 2 tangerine dreams one has the severe stunted growth and the other one is the worst looking one.
