Bottom feeding issue

Hi guys,
I have a setup that consists of bottom irrigation feeding. Pots are in trays of 1x1m.
In order to water i do the following: i mix the nutrients in 300litre tank and than i fill in the trays with automated pumps that push the water through the hoses. Each 3 days i repeat the procedure(trays are empty by than). As i understand roots use the water from the trays bottom to top, but the water is mixed with nutrients. So is there a need to flush while bottom feeding? And how is that possible? Its unlogical for me but its my first time practicing bottom feeding so i do not want to make a mistake.
Thanks

Hmmm, this bottom feeding you speak of, sounds like a recipe for root rot.

Id wager they mean just flush by feeding from the bottom with ph'd h2o.

No i did not explain myself well. I fill in the trays and the plants absorb the water in about 1hour (1litre per plant in 11l pots). So there is no root rot. I do it in trays some guys do it in pools(they put rubber on the floor and fill the room with water).

My question is since there is no flushing this way is this hurting the plants?

Oh I see. That’s sounds kinda like how auto pots work but you’re doing it manually. I don’t think those systems require a flush but there are threads with people growing in those, might be a good idea to check them out
