quick question, when u use bottled c02 insted of just releasing c02 in the room, what kind of bottled c02 r u looking for, just any carbonated water will work? and also i wanted to kno, how much do you try to spray on them, and shud this be done durin veg or flowerin....thanksz

you can use club soda also seltzer water but this method of c02 isn't worth it. get a propane or natural gas c02 generator those a highly effective

spend your money on lights and vent some fresh air in from outside, it is free and full of CO2; also I've made some baking soda - vinegar? i think bottles a while back and all they did was smell like dog doo.

oooh, is it 100% not worth the time?, b.c c02 the other way isnt an option for me unfourtunetly. Has anybody at all had good results with this method?

thanks for the info, but im new to growin and never delt with that method before.. after i make the solution, am i waterin the plant with it, or leavin it open in the room??

I built my own CO2 generator.
I used a 7 gallon water jug, 5/8 clear hosing, brass plumbing parts, and silicone. It took me about 10 minutes to make.

My recipe for 7 gallons is:

First boil 7 gallons of water
Then pour in 28 cups of sugar
Stir until completely disolved
Then put water in large bucket until water is room temp.
Then pour water into 7 gallon container and fill about 1 inch from rim
Add 7 teaspoons of yeast
Put cap on
Shake vigorously for a few minutes

Afterwards I let it sit out with the clear tube sticking in a tub of water until I get a bubble every 1-2 seconds. This usually takes 24-48 hours.

My 7 gallon CO2 setup lasts about 30-45 days
I check it once a week by taking the tube and sticking in a tub of water to see how long it takes to make a bubble.

I've been doing this for awhile, it's worked very well with the small grow space that I'm doing it in, which is about 80 cubic feet.

I'm gonna try and put up some thumbnails so you can see what it looks like.

Nice...

Why did you boil the water.... is there some benefit to doing that?

That is great, I am going to give it a try. Cheap and easy. I used to brew my own beer, I can't believe it didn't occur to me....DOH!

ya hanks i might have to give that one a try and the clear tube you run out of the jug goes around the plants or just the room?

The clear tube going into room is sitting just behind the wall fan blades. So when the CO2 drops, it drops all over the plants.
